TRAINING DAYS - Sunday 10th & Sunday 17th July 2011
We invite you all to our FREE training days - Open to anyone who would like to have a go! Are you steering a Dongola for the first time, braving the Novice Punting or just want to try skiffing, paddling, punting, dongoling? To be held at: Wargrave Boating Club, Station Road, Wargrave (12pm - 4pm) As well as our resident experts, there will be food on the BBQ and plenty of refreshments! PRACTICES OPEN - 18th July 2011 It is advisable to do some practice before taking part in Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta events, and most people do! The Regatta offers competitors a chance to practice using regatta boats every summer approximately three weeks before the regatta begins. There are practice stations on the Shiplake bank in the enclosure field at the bottom of Mill Lane, and on the Wargrave bank at Wargrave Boat Club.
