It is advisable to do some practice before taking part in Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta events, and most people do! The Regatta offers competitors a chance to practice using regatta boats every summer approximately three weeks before the regatta begins. There are practice stations on the Shiplake bank in the enclosure field at the bottom of Mill Lane, and on the Wargrave bank at Wargrave Boat Club. Practice Sessions usually start mid-July. More details will be posted here nearer the time.
